HIDS yes or no?

HIDS yes or no?

i'm looking for brighter whiter lights, would hids be the way to go? or just like piaa's? i still, want to have hi beam function which i know you lose with some hids, any help or suggestions would be great

If you're looking for whiter light - yes, HID is the way to go! Now your '05 uses the H13 bulb. There's two options, a BI-XENON kit which moves the HID bulb either in or out with a solenoid or side to side with a servo to achieve hi & lo beam. The second option is a H13-2 HID kit that has a HID bulb adn halogen bulb for the high beam in one. I personally went with the H13-2 for both my trucks and love it. I got the 50W kit with slim ballast, but a 35W kit would suffice! There's lot of suppliers out there. I'm sure other members will chime in and offer other suggestions, but I've always ordered mine off Ebay! - Jeremy

If you don't want to go the HID route, you can get Silverstars. They are pretty bright and white.
