on my wifes 98 expedition. her front washer fluid motor comes on sometimes, sometimes it doesnt. her rear works fine. its veterans day and im tasked to fix it today! i just pulled the motor pump out but i really dont want to spend $30 if i dont have to. any other reason why it would work half the time?

 

If you test the washer pump with power and ground and it works all the time, I would think the intermittent problem is from the MFS, not the pump itself.
