only R taillight "light" not working

My 1997 F-150 4X4
right taillight bulb "went out." I replaced the bulb, checked my lights, nothing. But the weird thing is, the blinker and brake work ( all the same bulb), but the taillight doesn't. I've replaced the proper fuses, checked the bulb connection, checked the wiring as far as I can see down it, can't find any visible problems. I haven't had a wreck or been off-roading or done anything else to cause any problems. Any solutions?

The tail lamps and the stop/turn lamps are in the same bulb, but they are 2 different elements and 2 different circuits.

When you check the socket with a meter, so you have power ?

do both license plate lamps work ?

i don't have a meter to test it with.
