Thumbs down

Did they run out, or get even cheaper on us?? My 98 has both covers, well, one since I bought a Rockford Fosgate terminal for the positive side. I have noticed a couple of trucks of the 2000 up models are missing theirs as well. Talk about cheesy!!,,,,98

Only one on my Y2K's battery as well (+ term. only).

I've also noticed in some misc. gallery pics that there is a cover over the voltage regulator (or the object mounted to the firewall behind the battery) on some earlier models as well.

Eliminating these items does save money when you consider how many F150's are sold.

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa You mean that your main power connection with the two red cables that is on the firewall doesnt have a cover either? I have that too. for what it covers i think a few cents in plastic is worth it, that is the main junction for all the power to your truck. If I could only remember the correct name for it that would explain it perfectly.

Yep... That's what I said.

They did use a plasting cap over the exposed threads of the lower (larger) wire mounting stud though!
