Problems w/remote start...neone else??

I currently have an autopage alarm/ remote start combo. Sometimes when my truck does not start on the first crank of the remote start cycle, it will just sit with its ignition on, and never begin another crank as it is programmed to. I believe it is suppose to give the engine 2 more trys before cancelling the remote start all together, but it will only crank once, and if it doesnt start on that crank, it will just sit there. Does anyone have any idea why this is behaving this way?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey man. This is what I do for a living. There are at least 2 good reasons why it will just sit there and not start, actually make that 3.
1. The tach sense is not eneabled (Will always only try once)
2. The alarm brain is partially fried.
3. The PATS system is not bypassed properly.

Take it back to whomever installed it and explain the situation. If you did it yourself, check #1 and #2 possible causes and fix. Hope this helps.
