Post Tough Decision

This is killing me...I found a great deal on a Gibson Super Truck but its only going to be available for a short time...then never again. A shop near me carries Gibson cat-backs but they are going to stop carrying the one for the 97. This is the only dealer in my state..actually for a few states.

How long can I expect the factory system to last? My 91 Explorer rusted through after 6 years. Im thinking of getting this system and mothballing it until I need it. HELP!!!

Cool

Triton46, why wait - get it now and install it. If I remember correctly the Gibson comes with a lifetime warranty (doesn't it?). The longer you wait to install it the less time you'll actually be enjoying it.

I might have the chance to get a 99 Lightning muffler and exit pipes also. Which would be better for my truck...the Gibson or the Lightning exhaust?
