Exhaust

I just got an 03 150 5.4 extended cab 4WD. Im looking at exhausts and I am considering the Borla cat-back. Anyone have any experience with that? Flowmasters seem to be the most popular but Borla is stainless steel but since it is a straight thru design I am wondering if it will be too loud.

Have you considered adding a Magnaflow catback system to your list? I have one on my 2001 Screw 5.4L and really love it. It's all stainless (like the Borla) and not too loud. Just my $.02. Good luck with your decision.

one of my buddies has a Borla catback on his 00 5.4 and honestly it doesnt do anything for me. Its nice subtle sound but too hi-pitched for a Triton!
Go with Magnaflow. Flowmasters are good but just noisy. Mag's provide roar and throaty sound you want that Triton to sound like.

Just picked up my '01 screw after having a Manaflow 15609 put on. It has more than enough sound for me and I could definitely feel more low in torque. I'm putting my Airforce One kit on tomorrow.

What are you waiting for ? GET IT ON TONIGHT !!!

You've got to get into the swing of things, modding the truck until 03:00 am, the "test drive" it until 04:00, catch 1.5 hours of sleep get up and drive the freshly modded truck to work.

Then while the lack of sleep & fresh new mod feeling has you giddy, surf some mod sites, order more and start over again the next weekend.

Don't you know this is the MA ( modders ananymous ) reject site ?

Glad I'm not the only one burning the lights in the garage at 3:00am on a regular basis!! SSCULLY's right; get a beverage crank the radio and enjoy the good life workin' on your truck.

Anything new going on your truck this weekend SSCULLY?
