cut the stock cats off and place some High Flow cats. Not shure on what to do with the spare 2 O2 sensors.
I agree with JL,go out the side. The look is awesome, and when you pass people, all the sound is generated right into the cars direction. Dumps are nice on low trucks or off road. Saw a 454 SS chevy yeasterday with a 4/6 lowering, and dumps and it was nice and loud when he took off. Do not get the loud poping red neck sounding exhausts. Just a nice powerfull sound is all that it needs.

Alright... peace man!!
I know that the cats on the 97-up are restrictive and take away a lot of sound but I would recommend NOT removing any of the cats on your truck. There are sensors before and after your cats that will detect whether or not they are working. You can take off all 4 of your cats and replace them with 2 highflows and replace all your sensors and be just fine. OR another alternative would be to ditch all your cats and get MIL eliminators I think they're called. They are O2 sensor simulators that you install to trick your computer into thinking you have working cats. Jegs and Summit Racing carry them.
I agree... Get the Flowmaster 40 series ORIGINAL!! Very good sounding muffler!
