I can tell ya that the Gibson SuperTruck is VERY loud... too loud for my taste, but the sound is very good (just too much of it).

I have both the Borla and Gibson super truck. The Borla is great quality and performance, but it is not loud. The Super Truck is great, good performance, great sound, especially WOT, and the interior resonance is low. If you want it LOUD inside and out, go with the FM 2 chambers (40 series).

FYI- FM 40 series are louder than FM 50 series. I do know FM 40's are too loud for me.

If your looking for the loudest sound do not use any mufflers. Remove the factory muffler at the clamp after the Y pipe. From there have another Y pipe installed and have duel 2 1/4" pipes run out to the back bumper. Add some 3 1/2" X 12" crome tips. I did this and it sounds awsome. A very deep rumble. The noise in the cab is minimal at highway speeds also. You local muffler shop should charge between $150 and $175 for this. I did this and removed the air snorkle on the fender well. I used a 3" rubber PVC pipe joint in its place. With these two mods you should feel better throttle response and get an increase of 1.5mpg.

That Gibson super truck exhaust or whatever gibson exhaust that is in the product review on this site sounds like ****. It sounds like factory exhaust reving up.

You say the interior resonance of the Super Truck is very low. Do you get any drone in the cab?

Did you listen to both files?
