the loudest

Welcome Kuntryboy24 ! Well, straight pipes with no mufflers are the loudest; illegal in most places. Flowmaster 40s (non-delta flow) and Dynomax Ultra flows are loud. The Ravins can best be explained by others (no personal experience here). Good luck !

yeah, flows are loud, but if you have an 01 like me, the four cats just make it a lot quieter.....I just had a ravin installed on one side and a fm 40 on the other.,........after hearing both on the truck I went with the fm 40....yeah the flow numbers aren't as good, but hell the difference in the two was not enough to make a discernable difference in power,,,,,there are many more limiting factors in the exhaust than just the flow of the muffler,,,,my ears said fm 40 and so I went with the custom cat back fm 40(3" in dual 2 1/2" out)....no regrets and no ravin for me

go right out the back with straight pipes...not too loud, the 4 cats cut the sound tremendously...try it and see, just leave yourself enough room before the new y-pipe to add a muffler if you choose...most places around here told me to run it straight, and then if i didn't like it they would stick a muffler on, no labor...i just had to buy the muffler...ask and see, couldn't hurt..good luck, Rich
