mike150,
I've got the Ravin Z55 on my truck and everything is fine at highway speeds with my setup. The only time you hear a little in cab sound is around 75 mph, and that's minimal. Other than that there's no noise in cab.

the only time I hear anything with my 55 is when the AC and stereo are both off and even then it's minimal. I'm very pleased with the sound when I'm on the pedal and the lack of it when I'm not.

I've got dual Z-33's on my Lightning.
On the Highway it's not too bad. It's a deep sound. Certainly louder than just regular street driving but you can hear converstion fine and you could drown it out with raido easily. However, go WOT and it can get loud.
I love the sound.

I just experienced my first day of highway driving and would have to say its not that noticable. When you consider road noise from the tires, you cannot really pick out the exhaust sound. But when you get on it to pass the land yacht in the slow lane... ohh man
By the way, I have Z-55 duals straight out the back.

Sorry guys, this may be a little off topic, but I don't seem to get a very good response otherwise. I have the 4.6 with a SI/SO FM 40 with a 3 1/2" X 10" tip. THe muffler itself has centered in/outlets and it's a 5 speed. Unless I stomp it at idle, I really don't hear anything significantly different from stock. Especially on the highway. I had the same setup on my 4.2 only dual...and it was quite a bit louder. Could it be the fact that it's mounted at an angle, rather than flat? Is it because it's an extended cab? Non-duals? Because it's an LEV? HELP!!!!
