If you are going to get a DI/DO there is no need for the X-pipe becuase that muffler has a built in crossover. Other than that just run the piping however you want with some nice stainless steel tips and you'll be good to go!!! Sound will be mellow at idle and sound great when you stomp on it.

It would work. I have no idea how much performance you would get or lose, but it would work. The MAgnaflow has some kind of crossover, but I have heard H-pipe and x-pipe. I have not seen one so I cannot comment on the quality of the crossover. If I were willing to us an external x-pipe, I'd go with two smaller 2.5" SISO mufflers.

The internal cross over is not the same as the X pipe.

If you want to go true duals, go with the external X pipe and 2 SI/SO mufflers, then finish it to taste ( side dump, rear side dump, straight out the back, etc ).

If you takng the time and cost to put in the X pipe, go dual mufflers also. You won't be sorry for this mod !
