1996 Bronco.

Hey guys, just bought a 96 Bronco 5.8L. Just wondering what you alll recomend for a nice catback system. I am looking for a nice DEEP tone. I don't mind if it is loud just not deafening. Does Magnaflow make a setup for these trucks>??? I love the Magnaflows on my Lightning. -Mat-

I do not know anything about catback systems, but I did have a friend who had a 1995 F150, a friend that had a 1996 F250 Supercab, and another who had a 1996 Bronco, and they are awesome.

I work at an exhaust shop here in town. Recently we installed a flo pro cat back on a 96 Bronco with the 5.8. Didn't sound too bad but it was not deep and throaty like a flowmaster or mag would be. Flo pro isn't the best in the world exhaust, but IMO, It's better than glasspacks or cherryboms, but that's just me!

Another setup that I think sounds good on some later model Ford trucks is a glasspack behind the converter and a y pipe split from the glasspack out the side or back.

Put a Y pipe behind your cats and run straight pipes, only good way to get the sound you are looking for out of that year of Fords. Trust me I had a '92 F150 and it took me a few attempts, finally end up with the straights and the sound was nice and deep.

Look at my setup, it is pretty expensive, but I wouldnt trade it for anything. It is very similar to a Gen 2 Lightning's exhaust.
