Post X pipe versus H pipe; Different?

Okay I have been reading all these posts about the Y pipe and some people mentioned running duals with the X pipe or the H pipe. Is there a difference in what these two do or do they give the same performance results (low end torque). Thanks in advance for any clarification.

Cool

I think the x-pipe gives more low end and the h-pipe gives more top end. I'm sure someone else will be along shortly to verify that.

I think you're right. As soon as I can figure this out 100%, I'll be putting one on my setup. I know that I've already gained on the high end, so when I get the low end back + the extra, I'll finally get what I was after in the first place. Now, if I could just find some extra money to change my gears....

Question

Sprintsrule:

Thanks for the info; that's kinda what I figured. I wonder, when you gain one, do you loose the other? i.e. if I go ahead and put on an X and get back my tiny loss of torque (and gain some), will I loose the high end gain I got with the Flow Masters again? BTW, welcome to the site.

The "X" pipe increases torque. A performance muffler increases top end due to increased exhaust flow. The best I have found are available at this website: http://www.spintechmufflers.com
