Right now I have a original setup (cat, cheap muff, resonator). I just bought a Walker Quiet Series muffler (spring bolt hardware, pipe clamp, and gasket) and Walker 2" tail pipe without the resonator. I was wondering how this will sound over the orginal setup. I'm gonna be installing it this weekend (hopefully if the rain stops!). I also wanted to know what the sense of the resonator is and will it sound better without it? This is pretty much a temparaly setup untill I get new inspection then I will ditch the cat and run 2" pipe from the Y to a Flowmaster, Dynomax, etc muffler that has 2" in/outlet center (or any other good muffler that is the same size). It will go back to my Walker tail pipe. How will this future setup sound? BTW it is for my Bronco II, 2.9L V6.
