FYI: Magnaflow is releasing a new bolt-on kit for F150's.
I had emailed Magnaflow to get some information on getting parts for a custom dual installation. Here is a quote from my replied email:
Currently all I can offer you is a cat-back system which is a single tail pipe which exits out the stock location. In about 30 days I will have a dual rear exit cat-back available.
This email was from 4/7/03, so am assuming, should be out by the end of April, beginning of May. Anyway, I'm waiting till it comes out to get the bolt-on kit. Then have the muffler shop weld it up.

My understanding for this Magnaflow 15749 is for the Ext Cab and the difference is the hangers placement between the Ext Cab and the SCrew. If this is the only problem I can get the local Exaust shop to make the hanger up. The best price I found for this is from Full Line Exhaust, Inc 1-800-264-8035 $349.29 plus shipping.
If anyone has any more info please let me know

I just recieved an email from magnaflow today.
Exhaust kit #15749 will be out in two weeks. They say it will clear your spare tire but it will not clear the hitch.
I did find the kit from Fulllineexhaust.com for 335.00 plus 50.00 shipping. A great deal.
Let me know if anyone know how to get around the hitch problem.

chsnbank,
Magnaflow also told me it will clear the spare tire, but they didn't know if it would clear the hitch. I don't know why they would make a system that didn't clear the hitch considering this is a truck and a lot of them have hitches! Who did you speak to at Full Line exhaust? The price I got was $349 and $70 shipping. Full Line told me that it would be 90 days before I saw the system. Then I called the factory twice. The first time they said they were currently shipping them and the second time a different person told me they weren't going to ship for another month! Does anyone know what's going on?? I'm starting to have my doubts about Magnaflow.
I think if they have a hitch problem it is because of the 3.5" tips. I installed a Flowmaster kit on my Father's truck and we had to grind off corners of the hitch to make the tips clear. Nothing structural, just the little portrusions on each side of the hitch.

I'm very disappointed to hear this. I had a Flow Master on my old 98 F-150. It did not clear the hitch so I had to grind the edges of the hitch. You can't see it and don't think structual but I regrat grinding off the edges, I rather bend the pipes to make the tips fit.
If anyone have a solutions for this (without grinding the hitch) let me know.
