Tomorrow I'm switching out the 5x11x22 SIDO Magnaflow to a
5x8x18 SIDO Magnaflow. It was just to quite overall.

Anyone have any input on how the 5x8x18 will sound vs the
5x11x22...I know smaller louder, but what I want to know is will I be able to hear it more inside the cab, and will there be any drone.

PS...anyone in VA can have the 5x11x22 for a case of good beer,
it's only 2 months old

 

Did the swap out this morning, and it came out perfect. The Magnaflow 5x8x18 was exactly what I was looking for. Nice and deep, can definiatly tell when the truck is coming down the road. Can hear it in the cab, but no drone, and reasonably quite on the HWY!!!

Very pleased.

Part number is 52268 SIDO 2.5" in and 2.5" out...ran them to
2 18"x3.5" slash cut tips
