I just got my 50 SUV FM delivered today by UPS. Will install on Monday and will let you know how it sounds. I am running dual pipes exiting behind each wheel. I hope it is loud enough for what I am looking for.

Had it installed yesterday and after a drive had them take it back off. Too quiet for me. If anyone is interested, I will sell it to them. It was clamped and not welded and is pretty much brand new. I am going straight piped for now.

Not so fast. I have a 50 series Delta 3 chamber flowmaster and the thing has to break in. This will take about two or three weeks. Mine is so loud (2 years later) that I will be changing to a Magnaflow or Bassani system.

Hang in there, it will get louder.

1) Do you have all 4 cats on?

and

2) Do you have the SUV muffler or the regular 50? There is a difference between the two especially since the SUV's case is larger.

I can't even hear it now at all. 4 cats quiet straight pipes down just enough to sound good IMO. I have always been a performance muffler guy (got full stainless Magnaflow on my stang) and never thought I'd ever do straight pipes til now. My truck is so quiet otherwise.

Hi-

I Delta 50 (not SUV), and I have all four cats. on. It's pretty loud now that I've been running them for over two years. That is the drive for my changing to Magnaflow, plus the fact that SS lasts one heck of a lot longer. The exhaust got louder with other mods.
