Ok, heres the deal. I found a deal on some Magnaflow hi flows off of ebay. I got 2 for $90 and that included shipping and insurance. I swear I can feel the diff. when I step on it. I am not going to lie and tell ya it thru me back in my seat by doing just this mod but I believe I can feel the diff. It does sound much meane, throatier, etc. than it did before.
I found a local (non franchise type of shop) and we had a discussion about the cats. We came to the understanding that they must be 'damaged' internally (hee hee) so we must replace 'em.... and look here, I just happen to have some replacement cats ready to go (hee hee again) They charged me $140 total plus the $90 I spent on the hi flows... worth every penny

Yeah, I posted in another thread about coming to OFallon some week or weekend. We would have to make an appt. with the guy. Hes very cool and very understanding of what us Ford guys want done with our cats. Plus, I am sure he likes getting paid Its just a small 2 bay exhaust shop. So, I know they like gettin' the $$$$

You can still use the stock O2 sensor when replacing with the hi flow cats. I have been driving for the past 6 days and no check engine light. It should not cause the check engine light to come on. If you look on troyerperformance.com under the section for hi flow cats he gives a great explanation of how this works. Look for the 2 1/2 hi flows for all the info. Hope that helps
