Ive got an 86 f150 w/the 5.0 it had 2 cats and a muffler stock.
I was looking for a louder deeper tone but i lacked the funds for dual exhaust.
i took off the muffler and put a cherrybomb on but it was pretty quit so right now ive got nothing with the tailpipe stoping right under the front of the bed are there any other options or dual exhaust kits that can be found for pretty cheap....it sounds pretty good right now (I dont want it too load) just a little louder or deeper.
any info would be helpful

I have the 88' with the 5.8L and all I have done is taken the existing Cherry Bomb off and put whats called a Turbo Muffler on. It gives a very deep rumble to the truck. Now keep in mind that with the single exhaust that you will not really be able to hear the rumble while you are driving. People on the street will though. I would also make sure that you get a mufler of some sort back on the truck. Running straight pipes may sound cool but can cause you some problems and not just with the local cops.
