glass packs duals vs Dynomax system
I have an '88 F-150 4x4, 351 automatic.
I am torn between two exhaust systems.
#1 DIDO cat with duals and glass packs.
#2 DISO cat with Dynomax system with two pipes exiting on the passenger side.
I want a good sound, a little loud, but just not noise, a low rumble. The Dynomax system would cost $50 more so that's not an issue.
Which system would you recommend and if its glass packs what length would you use?

for a low rumble, non-stock cats and dual glasspacks would sound pretty good. Youd also have some crackle in your exhaust tone, which personally i like. The longer the glasspack, the quieter and deeper it will be. You can get anything from 10 inch, very loud and high pitched glasspacks, to 38 inch, quiet glasspacks. I reccomend anywhere from 15-24" for a good sound

I don't know which Dynomax muffler you're looking at, but here's a few tips. Dynomax Turbos have low flow, but the Ultra-flow has a high flow, very throaty, performance sound. Ultra-flows come in Stainless Steel and a "Welded" mild steel. You need the stainless steel ones or they'll rot out in about 2 years. Glasspacks are also mild steel. My suggestion is to use only a stainless steel straight-through design muffler. My vote is nay on the glasspacks.
