I just purchased an 04 super crew lariat and wanted to just change the muffler not the pipe behing it. I know magnaflow has many models to choose from but I'm just not sure what size the inlet and outlet is and the other dimensions out muffler.

 

Single out or dual out?

 

I was looking at the same deal. Personally I think im going to go for the single out the side setup. Just not sure if I should get it professionally installed or do it myself through the kit. Also not sure if I should go for another setup, glass pack's etc.. *shrug* Havnt known many guys up here with a magnaflow setup so not sure how nice it sounds.

 

just a single outlet, like I said I just want to change the muffler and nothing else.

 

Magnaflows sound great IMO, nice and mellow; the shorter the mufler, the louder it is. I would guess the proper size would be 3" in and out and just have a local shop do the swap for you. Go to Magnaflow's website and look for the part you need and then search the net for that or take a look at Full Line Exhaust to see what they sell it for. I would probably get the 5x11 muffler case muffler.
