I would like to change the exhaust system on my 99 F150. I want a system which is efficient, but not too noisy. Hey, i'm 52 not a teeager anymore!! Maybe a system with a nice purr. I've heard some people say change from the cat back and others say to change the whole system. Not sure which is best. Also, what brands should i look at?What can i expect to pay? Also have question under transmissions.Thanks to all.

 

You may get a better response in the V-6 area. They've done every exhaust system imaginable. A search in that area will also yield quick results, since the response here seems slow.
