Has anyone ever put a flowmaster 40 series muffler with gibson exhaust?? I am not happy with the gibson exhaust and was wondering if that would work to give me more rumble.

 

i had the same problem with gibson (not being loud). i was about to try this, but just ended up putting true duals on. yes it will work. the only thing you'd have to do is buy a couple feet of straight pipe because the gibson muffler is a tank compared to the flow 40. you're gonna have to heat up the inlet and outlets on the gibson muffler to get the pipes out. i just used a torch.
