lightning headers on 4x4?

lightning headers on 4x4?
i was looking at the dynatech headers/y pipe setup in a catalog and i saw a lightning/harley system that uses dual pipes and was wondering if it would work ok on a 4x4.i really want long tube headers and i like that setup cause i don't wanna go back to single exhaust
