Arrow Gibson or Borla?

I'm kinda split between the Gibson Dual Sport and the Borla T-304. I really like the dual side exit look and am leaning towards the Gibson. Any experiences would be appreciated. . . Thanks.

I am also trying to decide what kind of exhaust to get(97 Expo 5.4L 4x4)...
I like the "true dual" from flowmaster, but I also like the gibson, and alot of people say that the package flowmaster sells is too quiet. I don't want it too loud though, as I will be towing with it.

Thanks in advance!

I have the borla split rear, and I like it. The kit is very good quality. Also it has nice quiet low rumble at idle, but really noticeable when you get on it. And there is next to no interior noise, and nothing you can hear with the radio about half volume.

soon: fipk, chip, rims (the ones I want are $2k with tires, I need more money)

Cool

I have the Borla cat-back with two out the back. I love the system overall, the only stiff I have is I wish the idle was a little louder. I have thought of switching my muffler to a flowmaster, but I haven't really looked into it.

Thumbs up

Put on a Borla single exit on my previous truck (Chevy) and loved it. It wasn't as loud as the Gibson I had before, just a low quiet rumble that barked when you got on it. It improved my mpg by 2 and did not hurt my low end for towing at all. Those looking for loud sound (some of us call it noise ) would be disappointed with the Borla. The stainless held up to MI winters with no rust at all. Paid around $400.

I would like to know how the Jardine systems hold up. Anyone have one for some time that is exposed to salt in winter?

Thanks for the response...
One more thing.. Do they make a dual-out-the-back exhaust system for the expedition?
The only problem I have with the Borla is those hideous tips...but I guess I could live with them...

Thanks agian!

Sorry, I gotta go against the trend, but I LOVE my Gibson. I would not hesitate to buy another one. Personally, I don't care too much for the sound of the Borla. Plus, the Borla is more expensive.

Cool

What measured improvement has been obtained by those of you who have swapped out your exhaust system.
