got a pair of hi flow cats sitting in the kitchen

well fellas i ordered an x pipe and hi flows for my true duals. now the x pipe is going on for sure, but what about the hi flows? i know all about the legality of this topic, but my exhaust guy is cool as hell and will do it, he does it all the time. where i live i don't have emissions testing, but these cats are obdll compliant, so i shouldn't have any problems if i move somewhere that does have testing. anyways if it was u guys would u put them on? i've got spintech duals, and with the x pipe and 2 hi flows then dumped this thing should be pretty loud. what you guys think?

I would put them on. If you don't, most likely the check engine light will come on from a bad O2 sensor reading (I think). Any way, if you already have them I would stick them on just as a form of insurance. And you never know, changes in emissions laws in your area might cause a crackdown on vehicles without cats.

Definetly go with the hi-flows, more HP, better sound, better acceleration. They will be great trust me, I've got a set on my 5.4L and I love'em. Go for it

well got the cats and x pipe installed today. totally bitchin! at startup the idle is twice as loud and so much deeper. overall my exhaust got louder with the spintechs, but more than anything, the tone is so much deeper, real throaty. I can feel a power increase, and i say this because i've got 305's bfgs mudders on my truck, really excelerates good now, just wait till the gears go in, holy ****!

argh, now im getting all jittery and wanting hi flo's that much more! Could you lay out a review of what everything cost you? PLEEEEEEEEEASEE??

Im wanting to go from my cut out muffler / dual tailpipes setup,
to 2, 94106 (short) series Magnaflow converters, into true dual 2.25" straight pipes out the back with new tips. Im just wandering how much more sound ill get, since i will be running no mufflers as i am now, just wandering what the increase will be with true duals & Mag. cats.

i paid 70 a piece for the hi flows, and 70 for the x pipe. then the shop charged me 90 bucks to weld them in. i've got spintech true duals with mag cats, and mag x pipe. couldn't be happier. i got the 94306 model number for the cats, this is the one troyer performance recommends.

yep im sure go to troyer performance and look at the exhaust section, the part number is there or just call him, hel'll tell u the same thing. i think u can use the 94106, it's just a shorter version than the 94306.
