I am supposed to received my Gibson Supertruck this week. I will post pictures. If the rectangular tips give the perception of a lower truck I will try to fight that with the 3" body lift.

I also like the 3 1/2" chrome or stainless steel slash cut tips.

Just wondering what your fav. style was: Single or dual round, oval, or rectangle. If anybody has some close-up pics, that would be great.

I'm thinking a flatter exhaust tip (like gibsons rectangular ones) will give a 'perception' that the truck sits lower. Am I crazy in thinking this?

Is a dual tip with only a single outlet pipe considered cheesy?

To me, the dual out rounds really make it look like a "man's" truck. Personal opinion again, I really haven't seen any other exhaust tips combos that impress me, but hey it's your truck, don't rely on what we think, we have our rides, this one's yours!

Cool

Dude, don't feel bad. I've changed the tips on my ride TWICE and already found a set that I like better than what I have now. Started with the set that the muffler shop put on, 3.5" by 12", ugly plus everyone in town has the same style. Then switched to Edelbrocks flat oval, look really good. But now I found these dual round that bend upwards. Never seen those before. Digital camera might be in Santa's bag. If so I'll start flooding the board with pics of my toy.

Thumbs up

Hey 98screamer,
Just checked out your truck, looks pretty sweet. To be honest with ya the reason why I went to look at it was to see how those rectangular tips that gibson make look out the back. Unfortunately your only rear shot is a little dark. You got any thing else you can show me. Thanks man!
