I just ordered the aluminized gibson dual sport truck (side exit) cat back exhaust system for my 98 expy. I have the 4.6 motor. I was wondering if anyone here has it and what should I expect? I got it for $305 shipped. Is that a reasonable price? Thanks in advance. heres a pic

That's about as good as you'll get probably. I just ordered the Swept Side in S/S for my 2000 for $369. For the S/S it's a heck-of-a-deal. Although, I just found out a few minutes ago, it's not shipping from Gibson until Dec. 27. Bummer. I really wanted to get it installed next week. I guess a lot of other people thought it was a good deal too.

I considered the Duel Sport but I think it may be a little too loud for me (and the wife, and the 3 year old).

Gibson told me that the Swept side is about 2-3 dB louder than stock and the Dual Sport about 4-5 dB louder than stock. Sounds like the Dual Sport may sound really good. Who knows.

Let me know how it sounds when you get it in. I'll post here as well.
