4.6 muffler chop job and cold starts

I have the 4.6, and wanted a little louder sound from the exhaust, so I decided to have the muffler cut off and a pipe welded in. Mission accomplished on the louder sound, and no major functional problems, but my question is this: after doing this modification, or putting on dual exhaust, which I plan to eventually do, do you have more difficulty starting the truck on cold mornings. It was about 30 degrees here overnight and i noticed a little stumbling before it started up. Not sure what happens when it gets down to zero.
