Gibson Split Duals installed today @ 1800 miles. So far very unimpressed!.
When they started the truck to back it off the rack, I COULDN'T hear it idle. On the drive home, I could tell there was something different, but nothing like the Flowmaster I had on my previous Explorer. And I have read a lot of posts to know that I need to give it time. If it doesn't get louder, look for a classified for sale. One Gibson Model 9504

But how's the low end? You could go louder, which would probably mean opened up more, which could mean loss of low end. If loud was your only goal, there are probably better systems that Gibson, but you'll have to give up something.
