My exhaust is so loud it caused an alarm to
go off on a new Chevy truck. It was parked
at a gas station when I drove by it to get to
another pump. Crazy! I think another
member has posted something similar to this,
something about their exhaust causing an
alarm to go off. Maybe it was King James,
I'm not sure. I was skeptical then, but I
sure believe it now!

 

How about letting us know what kind of
setup you have?

 

I set off my buddy's yesterday morning. Was parked next to him, and all I did was fire it up. Whoops. My stereo does to same.

My Gibson Sport Truck Cat-back sets off every alarm in the whole state at any power setting. Idling sets of alarms as well as WOT. I love it. Driving through enclosed parking structures is a game, try to set off every alarm in there. Funny thing is, it is very quiet inside the cab except at high rpms. It cruises wonderfully, all I hear is a slight mellow purr.

 

i set off one in the parking lot of my apartment complex. it was on some mitsubishi galant or some such POS with his sensitivity turned up too high.

side exit borla that only pisses me off if i have a headache otherwise very mellow

 

My Gibson SuperTruck sets off car alarms. My Punch 10's do also.

 

The best is when you punch it going up a ramp in a closed garage. Sets off a whole string of them. I just have to make sure I have enough clearance first.
