Gentlemen (and ladies)

I will be at the muffler shop on Wednesday to have a performance muffler installed (Birthday present from the wife). At this time I will only get a muffler and will continue to use the existing pipes I want a more mellow sound but do not want a drone in the cab.

My choices will be Magnaflow and Flowmaster. Please offer me advice and also provide the reasons for your choice.

Again - I want a nice mellow sound outside but not much of an increase inside at cruising speed.

From what you describe you would want a magnaflow. One of the ones with a larger case.

sounds cool dude yeh magnaflow would be ur best option

 

Between the two, I would install the Magnaflow because I prefer a straight-through, stainless steel, higher-flowing muffler.
