SIDO w/ Camaro Style Tips

I think I know what I want to do with my exhaust. I really like SIDO, however, everyone has round tips out the back. Our truck has a lot of straight lines and a bit of a boxy look to it. So I'm thinking camaro style tips out the back.

Does anyone have experience with these? Do they make more noise than regular magnaflow tips out the back? Does anyone have any pics of what this may look like on our trucks? I've searched all over the site and other places and can't find a thing.

Thanks,

F150 Duke

Hi Duke.

Not getting any bites, eh?

Could be folks are wondering why you'd want your truck to look like a chebby

Those are nice tips, but I think they'd get lost under that big rear bumper, and the alignment would have to be perfect - crooked ones would really stand out.

I like 'em big and round, myself.

Cheers

This is true on all counts. Just looking for something different than the other million + F150 owners. Also wanted something that went with the lines of the truck more. Now I think I'll look for pipes in the shape of the F150 logo on the back of the truck.

I actually think those tips would look good. however, the magnaflow tips in my kit were about 24" long would slide in or out to make up for the lenght of the bed, unless those tips are at least 20" long you would have to add some pipe to them.

They're two inches tall, 8 inches wide and 11 inches long. Might not look too good if you can see the pipe under part of the truck. The 24 inch tips for the regualr SIDO wouldn't have that problem. Right?

Still haven't decided if I'm going to use these tips. But I think I'll going to go with the SIDO but a 24" muffler instead of 18". It sounds like the 24" is a lot quieter. Anyone know if it cuts down on performance though?
