4.2 SISO Exhaust

Hey all,

A quick question for the board... I have a 97 4.2L that needs to have the exhaust replaced from the cat back, and would like to know if there is any advantage to change it into a SIDO?

Thanks

It will be louder and it looks better but you will lose some low end torque in the process. So if you do any towing, keep the SISO setup, but if not go with the SIDO.

Go with a SI/SO Magnaflow. I put one on my girlfriend's 2002 F150 4.2L and it helped the low end a noticeable amount. I had a shop bend 3 inch pipe for it.

Thanks for the input. I plan on doing a little towing so I guess I will keep the SISO.
