Quick Question--Temporary Exhaust

I got a little impatient today with my exhaust. I am having it done tomorrow, so I figured I'd go ahead and get some of the work out of the now by cutting the whole muffler-back off. Plus, I wanted to hear how it sounded just temporarily. I've been running around with it like that all day, but it shouldn't hurt anything, right. I figure with our 4 cats, we have enough restriction and scavenging effects to not mess anything up, right?

The exhaust ends right before where the muffler should be. No turn down, etc.

Which brings me to my next question...

To go the cheapest route possible (again, only temporarily, this time for a month or two) I am having an el-cheapo muffler shop glasspack put on with a turndown directly after the muffler. Should be OK, right? I plan on getting My complete Magnaflow 15739 in a month or two, just can't handle the stock exhaust that long. Looking for it to be louder than the Magnaflow, too.

Thanks
Brian
