I'm looking at having the Flowmaster Super 40 Dual in Dual out muffler put on my truck. The owner of the muffler shop said that the Super 40 wasn't as loud as the regular 40 series and was more like the 50 series which I like. Just wanted to know how loud it was and some opinions on this. Thanks

 

i have the super 40 one chamber SISO on mine and it is louder than the 50 series i have had on other vehicles

 

Fx4...I have the 40 series Delta Flow (SI/SO 3in). I have heard that the super 40 is pretty loud. I had the 50 series installed for about 3 years before I canned it for the 40 series Delta. You will be happy with any 40 series, trust me. I'm thinking about going with the Original 40 myself. Good luck !!!

I have regular 40 SIDO. Not too loud, but not as quiet as 50. My muffler guy told me Super 40 was about the same as 50 as well. Glad I listened to him.
40 is the way to go.
