hey man, what was the part # on your magnaflow? I was looking online at some and the 14" SI/DO I think that you recommended me getting is #12198. But it got me confused because the overall length of the muffler is 20", but the body is 14". Is that the right one for me? That means your 18" muffler is overall 24" in length. You know of anywhere I can get stainless tips that have a 5" outlet, but still a 2.5" inlet? I've looked everywhere and the biggest outlet I can find for a 2.5" inlet is 4" outlet.

Higdogg, look at the case size. The 14" is for you. As far as the tips, I think 4" is the biggest you can get with a 2.5 inlet. By the way, I think that will look perfect.

I haven't decided yet whether to go straight out the rear w/ 2 pipes and tips or if I should get them angled into the corners. I like both, most everyone else has them straight out the rear and I'd kinda like to have it maybe different if it would look good. But if it were, I'd want them shooting directly to the rear corner and not any more than that to the sides. Some people even get theirs angled slightly downward once they get them angled towards the corners of the truck, but I don't much like that.

I'd have mine straight out the rear. just the simple fact that I wouldent want the tires to sling crap all over my beautiful chrome tips.
