New Ford Owner Here!!!! Need Help!!!

Yes I recently bought a 2003 F-150 with the 4.6...I was wondering what is the best setup for aftermarket exhaust?? I had a Dakota with the 318 with straight duals and it sounded great. Is there anyway I can come close to a deep sound with the 4.6L???

BD,
Some of the exhaust websites have sound bites you can listen to. Just Google the company name, and you should be able to find their site. Good luck.

40 series flowmasters are the best sounding i have flowmsaters on my 4.2 v6 and the soung great i wouldent worry about them being too loud because there are 4 cats on f150's so that cuts most of the noise but i recomend shoping around just to find whats best for you

Hello BIGDADDYFX4,

Magnaflow cat-back Single-In/Single-Out is my vote. Duals can cause a loss of low-end torque on these trucks and I wouldn't recommend it.

Headers, no cats, 3in pipes all the way back, and a race only 1 chamber muffler.
