Magnaflow model/size numbers

I see quite a few different maganaflow models and sizes throughout the posts here. I'm sure most of them are strucly personal preference however are there specific sized ones I should look at for my 2004 5.4L supercrew??

If you are just looking for a replacement stainless muffler rather than a cat back system the 5x8x14 2.5" SI/SO offset/center is a 12226 and the same in an 18" is the 12256. I went with the 18" and almost wish I had gone with the 14". Its still pretty quiet except on acceleration. I will say there is absolutely no drone effect at any speed in the cab though which is a definite plus.

Talking smaller = louder

definitley go with a 14" if you like to hear it a little. no drone at all to speak of. part # 12198 aluminized si/do.

OOh. Tough choices there. I do like a nice low rumble at idel and some but not an overpowering amount on acceleration. Look like either will fit the bil. I'll have to check locally and see if there are any shops that can hjook me up.
