What exhaust to go with

I am considering going to a dual exhaust system for my truck , which is a 2002 King Ranch ext cab with the 5.4l... I am not looking for any major HP gains or too much noise but like the sound over stock exhaust and hope to gain maybe a mile or two to the gallon more..From what I have read, the Magnaflow system seems to be the best...Do I need to have anything changed on the computer if all I do is go dual??

I have the SISO cat back Magnaflow system and love it. Sounds good but not too loud for extended driving.

I have the Maggie also. It's not too loud at idle or crusing around at normal driving, but it wakes up when you stomp it. Not loud on the highway at all, my radio easily drowns it out.

Dual tips or true duals?

If you don't care about tips get the Mag 18" SISO dumped at the axle.

I've had it on both of my 150's. The sound is awesome. Deep and throaty.

Did you have to do anything with the computer?? Any better gas mileage?

True Dualed Flowmaster 40s

But if your looking for something a little bit cheaper and still loud, then maybe a SI/DO Flowmaster 40 and run tips over the axle will sound good, my F250 sounds quite nice with that setup, its louder than deep though, & I prefer deep loudness. I'm a Flowmaster exhaust guy here, so these are just my opinions
