ya he told he didnt think tru duals would be louder on a 05 f150 fx4 5.4. is he right. i would get flowmaster 40 series.

I had the 40 series on my 04 SIDO it was 5 out of 10 loud. If you want to make it LOUD get some headers. check out the maganflow sound clips I have of my 05.

Ok that "sounds" more like it. He is not far off. The si/do with a 40 flowmaster is a pretty good setup. True duals may be somewhat louder, but not so you could tell it with the normal ear. Especially if you do it right and use a "x" or "H" pipe. Most of the increase in noise would only be at WOT.

WOT= Wide Open Throttle. Ive had both set-ups your lookin into and my true duals are quite a bit louder than the si-do.
