king of kings - the whistle you talk about, is it like.. a turbo deisel type whistle, or is it like a drag racing, super stock mustang 5.0 type whistle.. lol.. im intrested.. bc when i have my cb on, and its quiet, my speaker produces a noise like a whistle from the acceleration, and i actually like it bc it reminds me of a turbo. lol..

and also, how much do you think you spent over all on all three of those upgrades.. i really want exhaust, but unfortunately i still live at home, and my parents dont want a loud truck in the driveway.. buttt.. i am thinking about doin the edge first, and then the exhaust when i graduate in May.

I have the Airraid TBS and I actually like the whistling but you can only really hear it if you have an aftermarket intake installed. Also, it only whistles when you have the accellerator at certain positions. When i floor it my exhaust and the whistle just scream it's pretty sweet. If you go with an aftermarket intake or programmer it will make your stock exhaust a little louder but nothing like an aftermarket system.

Whats the difference between the super 40's and the original 40's? I mean from the sound clip the Super 40's sound louder. And on the chart they are pretty much even.

 

Does anybody have a sound clip of the 10 series?
