Exhaust with resonator tips

Does anyone have a dual exhaust system with the tips as the mufflers? I've seen these around, I know lmc truck has a system and so does heartthrob. I would like to know how they sound. It also looks like if you just replace the resonator tips with regular ones it would be totally straight piped. I have a Flowmaster 40 but its too quiet for me. I want cheap loud duals. Any input is great.

I have a friend who has a nascar f150. Has 4 cats, no muffler and a dual outlet roush resonator tip after the rear passenger wheel. Its definitely loud if thats what your going for doesnt sound half bad either IMO

Thanks for the reply T-Roy. I was thinking about it and even if the resonator tips sound like crap i can cut some of the pipe and install a muffler of my choice. My truck also has 4 cats but i dont want to touch them. I think for me straight pipes would be alright. Tommorow going to some local muffler shops to see if they will bend the pipes for me for less. Then i could buy the tips seperately and the system would hopefully be cheaper. I want dual out the back angled under the bumper. Has anyone ever had just custom pipes bent for them at a shop without a muffler or installation? If so how much did they cost. Thanks
