Here's a sound clip of my recently installed Maggie 11226 14" si/so in the stock muffler location. Thought I'd post it up for you to hear...

Sounds real good if you ask me! Not too loud at all. althought that could be different in person.

he said it is louder in person. It does sound decent, but not deep enough for what I want though

It has more throttle response and did give it a little for ump under regular (nice) driving conditions but at full throttle i can't really tell a difference.

It's a little too quiet for me.... I also like my exhaust to sound deep as hell. I'm glad you like, though.

It is a bit too quiet for me also. I'm going to dump it sometime this weekend to see if it gets loud enough for my likings, if not I'll be replacing it with a Flowmaster.

I wouldn't mess around - I'd go straight to the flowmasters. Shortest path between two points!

Your Magnaflow is a 2.5/2.5 si/so ........The 3" si/so is what you should have used for your application to give you what you want

I have a magnaflow with a turndown now, and will be replacing it soon. Not gonna go with flowmaster because you will lose any power you would gain with a straight through muffler. I'm looking at proobably a dynomax ultraflow, race bullet. should do the trick.

I got a Magnaflow 12198 installed yesterday, 3"in/Dual 2.5"s out....lightning style exit in front of the rear tire. in one word WOW!. I am very impressed with the sound. I dont know if I notice any throttle response or anything as I just floor it now....

anyway, Im happy
