BTW, i emailed Jay and still haven't gotten a response after they told me to email them...i'm just not very impressed.

 

Good to hear an '04 owner that got no CEL's with the intake. That was my concern so I am gonna order one up now.

 

I emailed Berry twice and got a prompt response both times. Emailed Jay once, he got back to me, but didn't get my question answered though.

Did you order from autoeverything or autoanything? I hope you're getting the *NEW* S&B model (a much better system than the old one) that was just released because the model that is 'pictured' on the Autoanything web site for the '06 F150 is the *OLD* version that can be had on eBay for $185 shipped. Hopefully you're getting the newest S&B system that was just released.

The newest S&B cold air intake system is S&B part number 75-5016.
Their older intake system is S&B part number 75-2556-1.

I'm not trying to be an *** and I'm only mentioning this to make sure you can verify that you're definitely getting the newest S&B system because there's still plenty of dealers pushing the older product out the door and the one that is 'currently' pictured on the Autoanything web site at the link above is definitely the older system.

 

thanks for the heads up and I just finish getting off the phone with autoeverything and the part# they are sending me is 75-5016 S&B CAI so I hope i didnt get hosed..
and the edge part number is eef2400

i just had to return my order my truck is a 4.6L not a 5.4l so the 75-5016 will not fit my truck...gosh darn it. i have to wait now until the 18th. can i still run my edge with stock CAI?

I just ordered the new version from the S&B website for my '04. I got thier oiling kit also. Hopefully it will be here Monday. Can't wait.
