I'm little PO'd with S&B filters

Promises, promises, and promises. I ordered newly designed for guys with 04 models Feb. 18th and was told on email that order will go out 3-5 days, well still not here yet. I've called twice since this week and all I get is "it will go out next day blah blah blah". This is not right , if you are not ready to sell why even take orders on them (I'm just venting some steam here guys) I'm gonna call tomorrow and cancel my order and get AEM brute force system instead. I can't play this next day game anymore.

Hi.

Consider ordering the S&B intake through Mike Troyer.

I'd be willing to bet he would have more clout with the manufacturer than 'joe customer'.

Just a thought ...

Cheers

I checked out that intake while at the Dyno day and it looks nice untill I saw that big 3+ inch tube that goes into about a 1.5 inch flat tube. After seeing it in person I would not buy it just my .02

Did you get a chance to see or hear the dyno numbers this intake made in relation to the AF1? I read where the AF1 was still the strongest performer, but it would be nice to see some numbers on the S&B system in relation to the numbers the AF1 made.

Hey Matt!

Perhaps that's the method they chose to allow it's use with no tuning - choke it down to stock @ the MAF

Agree - sure would have been nice if there was time to run the numbers.

Could have used your DH to do that !

Cheers

Hey Guys:

You might want to send an email directly to the company president. His email addy has been listed in some informative adds in Diesel Power and possibly other mags. I think you'll get a good response if you send him an email to complain about your problems. Just remember be polite and all, it really goes a long way toward getting favorable responses from folks.

His name is Berry Carter and his email is listed as bcarter@sbfilters.com

Let us know how you make out.
