Well finally got the cherrybomb pro installed saturday. All I can say is "perfect". I did the 2.5 in/out dumped just in front of axle. If you are thinking about doing magnaflow, but want a chambered sound, this if your ticket. About the same loudness as my friends magnaflow on an 05 f150 5.4, but alot deeper and with a chambered sound. I think he has the 18 inch. Most important, no lost of torque down low and no drone. You can slightly hear it at 75, just like the magnaflow dumped. If you want loud, definitely do cherrybomb extreme.

What length did you get? I see they range from 14" to 30"

 

I got cherrybomb pro 14". This is not a loud muffler. Only as lound as my friends 18 inch magnaflow dumped but with more of a chambered sound. Best of all, you don't lose any low end torque, like you would with flowmaster with similar sound.

 

So if i want a little more "bark" than the pro, go with the cherry bomb extreme muffler?


Did you put differnt cats in also or just the muffler dumped?


I was also thinking maybe get the extreme and then put a CB glass pack in dumped....how would that sound?

Yes the extreme would be the step up from the pro. I put just the muffler dumped. The glass pack along would be louder b/c the extreme muffler would lower the sound coming out the engine before it reached the glass pack.
