I put the same on my Ranger with SI/SO and it sounds great. I like a deep rumble, but not very loud. I have had Flowmaster 40's that were terrible at cruising speed.
good luck.

I have an IMCO hotrod muffler under my truck, it isn't a cat back system that you can order but I had it bent up at our local exhaust shop. I am running 3" from the factory Y into the muffler and then 3" out the tailpipe into a 4X12" SS tip. I have no drone at all, it doesn't matter if I am pulling a trailer in 3rd gear or running the interstate at 80. It just does not drone, and I love it for that. My setup wasn't very loud either, it got alittle louder when I put the tip on but its still not very bad.

That's interesting. Can you describe it? what rpm range?
These trucks seem to exhibit this seemingly at randon regardless of which brand is installed.
I'll bet it's got something to do with muffler location, installation technique ( hangers being stressed), and some other inexplicable variables. It is well known that the further back the muffler is, the less chance of drone ...
Thanks.

I have IMCO , which is now using the cherrybomb name. Go to cherrybomb.com for more information. I have 2.5 Si/S0 cherrybomb pro dumped just in front the axle. No drone at all. Really deep sounds, deeper than flowmasters but not as loud. About the same loudness as magnaflow 18 inch but with more of a classic sound.
