headers or af1 intake?

headers or af1 intake?

i was wondering if anyone could help me with what would help my 01 5.4l produce more power, an air force one intake or a set of jba headers? please help!!!

any shorty header will gain you no power. Get long tubes. I gained 30hp and 35ftlbs from my dynatechs over gibson shorties.

does everyone agree with this advice? well should i go headers or intake i hear you gain almost 18hp from air force ones.

they all work together, no matter what you do first, you will eventually have to do the complete exhaust+intake to make the most power. For the exhaust to allow more air to exit, you will need the intake to suck more air in, making your engine more efficient. Without the exhaust, you will NOT see 18hp from the AF1.

well

i have a dumped straight pipe exhaust so i get good flow but what would you do first?

Long tubes, you cant disagree with dyno proven horsepower, 30hp and 35ftlbs torque from 2k up. didnt loose any low end.
